Founded by Daniel Heifetz in Howard County in 1996, the Institute has grown into one of the world’s most renowned training programs for violinists, violists, and cellists aged 9 to 30. Dedicated to nurturing the artistic growth and career development of the most promising young musicians, the Institute’s performers will captivate you with an exhilarating recital of emerging talent.

The Program
The Heifetz Holiday Tour, featuring the brilliant young alumni of the world-renowned Heifetz International Music Institute, makes its Candlelight Concerts debut on Sunday, December 10! The concert will feature favorites of the season along with glittering solo works, Baroque gems, chamber masterworks, and some special Yuletide treats for listeners of all faiths, including works by Mozart, Ravel, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and George Gerswhin. You won’t want to miss the dazzling virtuosity and poignant passion of these young performers, whose music will help to make the holidays glow a bit brighter. Hallelujah!

The Heifetz International Music Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to the artistic growth and career development of the most talented and promising young musicians in the world. The Institute believes there are specific factors that distinguish a good performance from a great one, an emerging musician struggling to form their artistic identity from a complete performer who will establish a notable career. They seek to know, and to teach, what those factors are and how to achieve…
