Performance Information

Multi-award-winning French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet brings Chamber Music Maryland's season to a scintillating end with an acclaimed and personal program of Haydn and Ravel. Bavouzet, renowned as one of the most captivating live performers of his generation, will play selections from his complete album of Haydn's Sonatas, which Classics Today called "the best [recording] of this sonata on a modern instrumental that exists", and a significant selection of Ravel's works, for which the artist has won numerous awards from Gramophone Magazine. The 2024-25 Season marks the 150th anniversary of Ravel's birth, making this program a fitting tribute to the French master.

After the concert, join artists and fellow concert-goers for champagne and chocolate in celebration of Chamber Music Maryland's 52nd season!
