Bavouzet, renowned as one of the most captivating live performers of his generation, will play selections from his complete album of Haydn's Sonatas, which Classics Today called "the best [recording] of this sonata on a modern instrumental that exists", and a significant selection of Ravel's works, for which the artist has won numerous awards from Gramophone Magazine. The 2024-25 Season marks the 150th anniversary of Ravel's birth, making this program a fitting tribute to the French master.
